Consulting Services for Warehousing & Distribution - Case Studies - Packaging Materials Manufacturer
Distribution Design completed Operational Audits for four distribution centers supporting the distribution of packaging components for the beverage industry. The four facilities consist of a total of 1.2 million square feet, and they are being operated by two different 3rd party logistics providers. The audits identified numerous opportunities for improving day-to-day operations. The audit reports provided specific recommendations for improving space utilization, equipment utilization, productivity, inventory accuracy, and metrics tracking.
